Karl,

For me, it is hit-and-miss with MS 6.52 as to whether a saved chart will remember it's starting place. Some do. Some don't. I have wasted two weeks trying to track it down. Equis says its because my installation/setup is wrong. I wasted tons of time confirming that it is not my install. I guess they are in denial. There are several other problems that appeared with 6.52 that Equis refuses to acknowledge (creating incomplete JPG files from the "Save as HTML" command for example).

During my experimentation on this issue, I did notice that there seem to be more problems if the starting date for the data is close to the starting "display" date - especially on weekly and monthly charts. But even this observation isn't 100%.

I now run these incredibly complicated scripts to compute and verify the start and end dates of my charts (and that the JPG sizes are correct). It's a real headache.

When I get the time, I'm planning on backing up and just using 6.5 until the Y2K thing bites me or until Equis releases a _tested_ patch to 6.52.
