SARASOTA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 1999--Biofiltration
Systems, Inc., a Pollution Control Company, listed on NASDAQ BB
(Nasdaq BB:BIFS) announced today that the Company has been invited
back to a meeting next week to conclude nearly three years of
negotiations with a client that the Company believes will develop into
a major customer for its ANEROBIC/AEROBIC DEICING TREATMENT SYSTEMS.
BFS was incorporated in 1992 for the purpose of purchasing,
further developing and patenting a proven ANEROBIC/AEROBIC Remediation
Process for treating and disposing of aircraft deicing and anti-icing
fluids and other related organic effluent. The Company has now
achieved all of these objectives.
It is a cost effective method of treating spent deicing fluids
and in most instances it is self sufficient, i.e. , extracted methane
gas is used as fuel to complete the process.
Biofiltration Systems, Inc. has an environmental concern; we

Pollution Control and Waste Management:

effective job of treating Landfill Leachate, Municipal Waste Waters,

Contaminated Ground Water and will Polish and Complete final Treatment
of the Anaerobically Treated Wastewater, if required. Biofiltration
Systems is not limited to the aircraft deicing treatment and other
organic waste, it is also capable of designing and building VOC
scrubbers, doing InSitu Bioremediation and Air Sparging of
Contaminated sites.
