RIG printed at least 2x at 23 3/4. I decided to get into RIG this am at 25+. Wanted to pick up more about 24, but could not log into Fidelity during the last 10 minutes of trading. For $75/trade I had hoped for better availability.

Per CEO Talbert, RIG will make less in 99 than in 98. That's no big surprise, but Talbert refused to comment on analyst's prediction of still further reduced earnings in 00.

If a premier company like RIG is in this situation, what does that say about FLC? There has been a lot of IMHO "hype" on this board for FLC, but having been burned a couple of times over the years by high debt companies, I'm staying away from it.

IMO RIG, DO, and NE are better bets.
