Cool. I'm not opposed to Destin or such at all. I really am working on my demands, and should have them ready by the 26th. I am probably the poorest person in the bunch, cept for maybe Penni, but if car rental and rooms are shared it is cheaper than going as a couple. I have rented and seen some incredibly nice places that were cabins for 6 or more, or little units, or basically large houses. I can share a room with someone, or someones, of reasonable persuasions, temporarily, as long as it isn't crowded or creepy. But some of the best places I've seen can be had by a bunch, split cheap.
E.g, there are a ton of 3 bdrm condos on the big island that 6 people can get cheeeeep. And in the State Park at Kalopa (really nice) there's cabins with four okay bunks per room and hot showers and a big honking central hall and kitchen and fireplace and it's twelve bucks.
The birds there are the cheeriest in the morning I have ever heard.
(I'm not suggesting we go there.)
Lake Powell (Utah ~ Like Zion, with water highway) house boats Rock Your World. That is the most impressive place on the planet, and HUGE. I think it's the largest coastline in America. Massive orange sandstone, ultra desert, and you're floating in watery luxury. They sleep seven hundred. But I am voting for Fall, early to mid October. To late October. And somewhere within an eight-hundred or Destin-distance string circle wrapped around Ish's neck.
