Vaughn, quite a statement, both regarding GMD and the VSE.
I certainly agree with that better disclosure (more detail, more widely disseminated) is the way to go. I have always supported this, and pushed for these changes.
I think if shareholders have specific issues, they should raise these in letters, faxes, emails, phone calls etc to the Company. GMD tries to fully disclose any material fact as soon as is possible, in compliance with National and VSE Policy and BCSA regulations. Usually more information is better, but it is always a trade off in getting the message out in a clear and concise manner, versus information overload.
The VSE has done a terrific job in keeping a clean house. The VSE has recently attempted to amend its disclosure policy. There were problems in the past, but the system works, and it's improving.
