Share Price Increase: Something about to happen

The stock price was up over 12% today, on a day when the precious metals and copper all took hits - especially copper, down 2.9%.

I suspect an announcement is coming out soon with regard to the Sekatak property and the Thailand property. Marco Romero indicated at the end of April that announcements would be forthcoming in two or three weeks - in other words, about now.

The fact that the stock has held up given the beating gold has taken in the last month and the fact that silver has slipped is good news. The behavior of the stock price over the past 8 weeks appears to indicate that the weak hands have finally left, and insiders / investors / analysts in the know are waiting for good things to come. As mentioned before, even with copper at US$0.60 / pound, the company is still doing great just with the Monywa site. When the adjacent site to Monywa comes on board with its additional 8 billion pounds of copper in two years, EBIT will hit $1.00, and the stock will be $15 - $20.
