Do it. There is no better way to DD a company than to give them a surprise visit. Check their parking lot capacity. . .See if there are any prepared desks without people behind them. . .check out of the way waste baskets to make sure they are being emptied nightly. . .look at the expression on the face of the workers. . .make sure there is hustle and bustle and lots of happy faces, etc.etc.etc. All of this can give an indication of the future of the company.
