I also called Fidelity. Spoke to several people in their "Electronic Trading Department" who were unaware of any planned changes to their site for more active traders. I sometimes trade an account that I hold with FIDO and find their site impossible for any short term trades. You must call a broker to short. Only seldom can you get filled at the bid, as they seem to sit on your trade. And that damn logging out after 20 minutes is the most frustrating of all. What purpose does it serve? A lot of other brokers don't have this moronic timer. To anyone who had tried to short term trade, how many times have you watched LII, it hit your price, you enter your order, and....sorry you have exceeded your time limit? Even worse, if just tried to enter an order it takes you all the way back out to your balances page so you get to repeat the process again...
