Looks like CheckFree is beefing up the PAWWS service. I've never been too excited about the PAWWS service since I see more competition there. But looks like CheckFree keeps working and improving that service as well: 02:48 PM ET 03/10/97 Checkfree,Reuters in Internet deal ATLANTA, March 10 (Reuter) - CheckFree Corp on Monday said it has entered into an agreement with Reuters America Inc to combine CheckFree's Internet services with Reuters information resources to deliver a World Wide Web product to brokerage firms, financial institutions and their customers. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Checkfree said that under the agreement, Reuters America, a unit of Reuters Holdings Plc , will offer its Internet brokerage customers access to CheckFree's processing services which include transaction capabilities, portfolio management and online bill payment software. CheckFree will integrate Reuters news, stock quotes, content, brokerage transaction capabilities and Internet hosting services to its suite of services currently offered to customers at financial institutions and brokerage firms.
