FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

FEDERAL COURT DENIES ALL MOTIONS BY DEFENDANTS IN LIFEONE STOCK MANIPULATION LAWSUIT

North Bethesda, Maryland, December 29, 1998 - - LifeOne, Inc. (OTCBB:LONE), (the "Company"), announced today that the federal court of the Central District of California in a lawsuit brought by LifeOne (the company) and certain shareholders has denied all motions by defendants to dismiss the lawsuit, to compel arbitration and to transfer venue.

The defendants in the lawsuit, Krueger et. al. v. Williams et. al., which include Thomson Kernaghan and Arie Rabinowitz among others, are alleged by the plaintiffs to have engaged in illegal manipulation of the company's stock and in a fraudulent stock shorting scheme designed to artificially depress the market in and for the company's common stock.

Brent Chapel, CFO of LifeOne, said, "The company is extremely pleased that the lawsuit will be tried on its merits in California. We are confident that the vigorous pursuit of this civil action will prove to be in the best interests of our shareholders.''
