"We need DSL not cable". Once a deal is made with cable it will be the beginning of their control over the Internet. At that point there will be no turning back.

Other ISP's are also being LEFT OUT of Internet access via cable. With DSL everyone gets a chance of being a high speed internet access provider. This fact gives strength to what Mr. Case is arguing in Washington.

IMHO... if there is a cable deal we'll all feel warm and fuzzy short term but long term may be a different story.
