Good synopsis. I got a new x-ray of the un-replaced hip last night. Interesting. Haven't figured out when this will happen, the replacement. But the head of the femur has collapsed now, and the Doc doesn't think I will be "able" (i.e. "pain"), to wait til Fall, which is when I want to do it. But it doesn't matter ~ because I can go whether it's fixed or not. Actually, it will probably be fixed. It hurts now, even with pain meds, and I can't do my stuff.
Obviously, haven't figured this out yet. Fall is good for me to travel, because of the weather here, and my wife don't wanna go, and at lotsa places kids are in school, and resorts are cheaper and less crowded. But FL beach may be too cold in Oct.
It sounds to me, objectively, like I'm already making too many demands, by preferring out of the city; somewhere calm. It's no problem ~ I can bring some anti-hysterics.
Amenities are a definite; I think everybody agrees on that.
And Ish wants to bark, drink, smoke, and shoot.
Lather wants to spectrum analyze farts.
