A post from the YHOO board regards AMTD growth:

AMTD transactions up 93% this quarter
by: wire_to_wire (32/M/Manhattan)

Every month I post the number of daily transactions AMTD is handling and you
won't believe the numbers for this current quarter. How do I get the numbers?
Simple. If you have an account with AMTD, each of your transactions is given a
number in sequential order. All you have to do is compare the numbers to verify
this companies amazing growth.

From 1-7-99 to 3-29-99 AMTD had 20.2 million transactions. That spans 81
calendar days. Break those numbers down to 31 calendar days (1 month) and
AMTD averaged 7.7 million transactions/month in the first quarter.

Now for the current quarter. From 3-29-99 to 5-5-99 (my most recent trade)
AMTD had 17.8 million transactions. That spans only 37 calendar days. Break
down those numbers per 31 calendar days and you get an average of 14.9 million
transactions/month during the current quarter.

That mean's AMTD is growing at 93% quarter over quarter. Amazing!

One final note. These are total number of transactions, not just trades.
Transactions include deposits, stock splits, etc. Still it's an easy way to track
AMTD's growth if you have at least a third grade education.

Rock On!
