TORONTO, May 19 /CNW/ - 01 Communique Laboratory Inc. today announced a
strategic partnership with Archtek Telecom Corporation calling for 01's
COMMUNICATE! LITE software to be bundled with every Archtek SmartLink modem
shipped worldwide. In addition, both companies will work together on bundles
in the retail market involving 01 Communique's full featured software,
COMMUNICATE! and COMMUNICATE! PRO, along with Archtek modems.
Archtek is the eighth modem manufacturer to select the COMMUNICATE!
family of products as its telephony and communications software solution since
last October, reflecting industry response to the line's extraordinary breadth
of functionality and ease of use.
01 Communique's products add value to Archtek's modems by supplying
telephone answering/speaker phone, Internet email, and data communications
functions, along with a fully integrated contact manager that is unique to the
COMMUNICATE! line. All functions are integrated under a common interface that
employs the familiar visual metaphor of a telephone answering system,
consolidates related functions for fast navigation, and eliminates the need to
learn multiple applications.
