rude..ot

late eighties, you were working on the renault engines or had they transitioned to honda...weren't they the yellow camel cars with senna..remember them well in mexico city in 89...i spent a great deal of time in the early eighties in london...did some club racing and hill climbs, mostly 3.8jag mkii sedans and aston db cars..growing up i was the only ten year old kid in my neighborhood who had read "the theory and practice of fast driving" by denis jenkinson...saw many an f1 race on the continent...still a gear head, masochist, my preferences still british...

i appreciate your feedback on dell...cannot afford to be blinded by one view..too much happening with the big boys...saw an interview with platt on nbr..their new campaign is called "chapter two"...as in they are ahead of the curve in e-commerce..it's all a perception...personally i would like to see dell be more aggressive in advertising and pr...look what it's done for intc...brand recognition is necessary especially if they venture into consumer products...owned a lot of compaq...they had the opportunity, but it will return..to me they are dell's biggest challenge, can't rule them out....even without a ceo..reminds me of the ibm turn around...keep on watching, will be interesting, and even profitable...thanks,
