Thanks for the reply. I appreciate that not everyone is a techno-weenie (like me). The problem I have with this article is that the author comes off like he "knows-it-all", and aren't we a bunch of idiots for buying the newest/fastest modems. If he doesn't "KNOW" the industry, then he should not be given the license to put his misguided views into print where millions of "INVESTORS" will read the article and possibly start selling becuase they think he's right. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. How would you like a med student to be giving you a diagnosis when you think you have cancer? You wouldn't! Why? Because, although he knows more than you or me about the subject, he is still not qualified to make the diagnosis. It takes a REAL doctor to do it (and even they don't always get it right). The same holds true for technology. If you don't know what you're talking about then please do us a favour (I'm talking to the author of the Tribune article, not you) and SHUT UP!!!!
