Gents,

If you are buying Biotech Holdings, you are essentially buying Diab II and not much else. Exactly what is Diab II (i.e., the chemical entity)? A thorough search of the chemical literature turns up: nothing. A search of the patent literature turns up: nothing. The patents are "pending" according to the company's homepage-- if they have been filed in Europe, that means the filing is less than a year old-- on a drug already through clinical trials? This makes no sense, particularly since this is supposed to be "a new class of diabetes drug". It should have shown up in the literature somewhere, particularly if a new set of trials are set to start (in that hotbed of clinical research, the Caribbean).

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but is there a there there?

P.S. Merck talks to lots of companies about their compounds, but signs deals VERY RARELY. If Merck were to sign a deal with these guys, you're going to be very happy.
