That's so insane...that we'd better be on guard for it. :-) Even in 1995, they only managed to close above $87.67 eight times, in the nine-session period of 9/7/95 - 9/20/95. It was a nearly perfect inverted V price-wise, but very stealthy volume-wise. The jumbo volume day wasn't until 9/27 on 12M shares, the high volume day for the year at that point.
