More important than the exchange rate possibly causing the price of Softbank to go down as the dollar goes up is what measures will Softbank have to take prior to going public in the US? I sense that some of these measures could have a negative impact on the share price for Softbank Stock. Also, if they go the ADR route, how large a discrepancy can exist between the Tokyo price and the US ADR price given the usual fixed ratio? Is there a viable alternative to issuing American Depository Receipts?
