Greenspan is SO smart. Cutting interest rates is a great long term solution for economic stability! Just ask the japanese- they now pay .03 percent interest on their CDs!

And their economy is doing great! An internet equity bubble built on false promises and unbridled greed isn't a mania, it is a solid foundation for untold wealth. Not like that dumb real-estate inflationary bubble the japanese had in the late 80s.. I mean, comon, Yahoo at 40 billion in capitalization is one thing, but a hundred million dollars per acre in Tokyo is just crazy. Looney. I bet they look back on that time and laugh how silly they were.

Uhmm. Err. Wait, Tokyo's stock market underwent a 4:1 stock split in 1989, didnt it? Whenever one of my internet stocks is down 75% i always know they had a 4:1 split.

I mean, a whole economy couldnt go DOWN for 10 years and stay down, could it?
