Jay, obviously you misunderstood my posting. Of course this analogy has been made many times. But I don't see a clear vision in Softbank's acting getting rid of any unuseful business and focusing on one area like VC. I haven't seen any article stating Softbank to spin off, sell or whatever do with its IT distribution business. Same for ZD. The transformation process of CMGI is by far more visible and transparent to me (maybe because they are US based). Maybe this clears things a little bit up. Regards sunny
