<<Duck quacks don't echo? I don't buy it, scientifically speaking. Have you tested this theory? How about geese?>>

I spent twenty years hunting ducks and geese and it's true. On some days a duck or goose call will echo, especially in flooded timber. On the other hand I have never heard a quack or honk made by a duck or goose echo. It's common knowledge among waterfowlers.

Scientifically speaking it sounds nuts but it's true. Why? I never have heard a reason.
