Patricia,

I received my Corojo2000 order the other day. Looks are OK, but it went out about 2" from the end, suggests poor construction.

I was disappointed to find them individually cellophane wrapped. None, I repeat NONE of the premium primer cigars are individually wrapped. This is because as cigars age (think 1 to 2 years here), their oils mix and they merge their flavors together. This gives you a more consistent taste from cigar to cigar. This is also why you store them in their own box, or their own section of the humidor. If you cellophane wrap the cigars they can't age properly.

As for flavor, well, keep in mind we are discussing a cigar made to retail between $8 and $16 each, depending on the model. The taste was, quite frankly—boring—and a little bitter. This may be an aging problem, I will let them sit in my humidor for couple of months and retry one then. Anyway, if I just go with cigars available in the US that retail around the same price, a Padron Anniversario or AVO XO is a much better smoke. Even a much cheaper cigar, the La Flor de Maria Mancini, tastes and smokes better. And compared to any Cuban (no embargo here, lots of them in my humidor) they come up lacking.

Disappointing first impression. If they don't get any better with age, I suggest you don't waste your money.
