The rumour (and I stress that is ONLY a rumour) is that Gucci might be seeking to develop a new brand that is still high quality fasion shoes and leather goods but somewhat less posh than the existing label. I suppose somewhat it might be somewhat inline with what Chaps is to Ralph Lauren or what Armani A/X is to the typical Armani brand. They are rumoured to be looking at existing companies with some sort of brand name/recognition but would inject capital and their own designers to develop this lesser quality Gucci line. This is all I have heard and I repeat this is STRICTLY A RUMOUR!!! The person I heard this from did not mention CCWW or anyone else for that matter directly as a target.
