ithasnospaces,

First of all, would you please stop using words like disingenuous and addlepated? My Webster's is getting a workout.

Second, I was a shareholder (paid with my own good money) well before I received shares from the company (bought first back in March '98, received restricted shares in December '98). If you look back at all posts, I have always been a supporter and a critic as warranted. I don't know how many people were influenced by my messages, but the whole purpose of including the disclaimer (which I probably don't even have to do since there was no obligation attached to the receipt of shares) was so people can make their own determination of possible conflict of interest. There are paid stock promoters who don't even disclose as much.

I haven't posted as much on this board recently because, quite frankly, I'm a little uncomfortable doing so since I did receive the restricted shares. Also, based on the timing of the year when I fully expected nothing to happen until at least Memorial Day when the waterpark opens, I didn't really see any point in following ETPI too closely because all the positive comments in the world wouldn't have significantly changed where we are sitting right now. Might as well save my bullets for the real fight.

Doug and many of the other guys at ETPI are holding a lot of shares in their personal accounts (Doug alone holds a third of the shares). You can bet on the fact that they'd love to see this stock trading at much higher levels. Everyone stands to gain from it. As far as "fissures" in their business talent, I'm several hundred miles away from where their office is, so I can't really judge day-to-day management skills from where I'm sitting. They're a small company at a critical juncture. Mistakes have and will be made, but hopefully not repeated.

Hell, you're located right there in Texas. Why don't you get off your lazy cowboy ass, hop on your horse and ride to Houston to see them yourself? By the way, I was born and raised in Texas (Harlingen, Waco, San Antonio), so I can say things like that.

Don't underestimate the impact of the waterpark. Water Wonderland is the largest waterpark in Central and West Texas. And in the Midland/Odessa area, there's not a whole lot going on as far as entertainment outside of the waterpark. It will be a huge revenue generator for the company. The 3rd qtr will realize slightly over one month of revenues (May/June) from the park, the 4th qtr will benefit even more.

I do not use this forum to communicate with management. If I want to talk to management, I pick up the phone and talk to Doug or one of the division presidents directly. Just excercising my right as a shareholder in a public company. Doug and I did play phone tag yesterday, and I should be able to reach him today. I'll report back here after I speak to him.
