Star City Casino is preparing for the state of Victoria to pass legislation permitting Internet gaming, but prospective future owner, Tabcorp, is skeptical. ''Our view has always been, and our past research has found, that there is not a whole lot of demand for new gaming products,'' maintains a Tabcorp spokesperson. Others think along different lines. The executive chairman of International All Sports, Ltd. says, ''The Internet will cannibalize traditional gaming.
