Look, if you'd take the time to read what I said, you'd realize that what I was saying is that it's likely Cramer never looked at the story on the web. The info would likely have come from a broker given that it wasn't on the wires. You'd usually have to act on the rumor before any offical release comes out to make good money anyway.

Blowing one year in ten big years is not underperformance. A few years from now, this past year's numbers will just be a blip.

the only link to the story was on Silicon Investor. The link to the bogus story was not on SI, it was on Yahoo. Fund managers couldn't care less about what gets posted there per what I've already said above.

Most "funds" aren't looking for opportunistic plays on a swing of a point or two anyway Oh they're not???? Guess I'll have to quit my trading job then!! 10,000 shares up one point (in a few minutes no less!!) is $10,000 profit - guess that's irrelevant??? Speak not of what you know nothing about. Hedge funds were created to exploit just those kinds of opportunities. Plus, did you consider that maybe he was bidding to buy more than 5-10k shares???

Re "the bonds" - you're saying that he made a macro call, but you're also riding him because he's currently breakeven (per his article yesterday) on his bonds. Since when do traders make make macro bets (read LONGER-TERM BETS!!) with the expectation of making big money the next day??????? You might want to re-think that one. Actually, maybe you should just give up.
