From my experience -yes. For a small high-tech company to get the attention of investors -without giving away half the company -is almost impossible. Plus the banks won't lend you money unless you put up your house as collateral. There are all sorts of companies that are at this stage of growth. That is why they have to be creative and get the Montellos of the world involved. Most people don't even know how their phone works. JP
