Von, you need to draw your comparison to T and WCOM, rather than MSFT. I think that you'll find that LVLT and QWST are in the first stages of opening up a big can of whup-ass on the major players. In the end, WCOM will do well, too, but T is in big trouble...

Like Compaq, T will be hobbled by an unadaptable business model, while the rivals (i.e. DELL in CPQ's case) with pure refined models beat them to the best markets touting exponential efficiency and capacity.
