I spoke to the CTO and co-founder of TMMI, Tom Simpson, as David had suggested. He didn't deny the rumors but he also didn't affirm, and legally couldn't have anyway. He did state that he has personally prepared 5 press releases and they are "in review". He said they're close to closing out that "Anderson lawsuit" and hope to be making some solid advances in the weeks ahead. We spoke for approx 15 minutes, and he answered everything I thru at him.
Unfortunately, I've not been in the game long enough to know all the issues, but I do somewhat understand the fractal advances that they're working on....in fact, we were both surprised to find out that we had worked (6yrs back) on the same "advanced imagery" project for the Gov, albeit on separate coasts. It appears that they're on to some hot stuff and primed to make some strong moves. I wouldn't classify the moves as "starting another Microsoft", but they are early adopters of a technology that's needed and wanted.........and that's all this is about.
I'll safe harbor my comments by admitting that I didn't fly out to CA to visit the office, but I felt comfortable with Tom's candor and enthusiasm regarding the technology.
I think we just need to all do some more DD --- start by going to tmmgroup.com and call/write/download to your hearts content. I'm personally going to do so, but I heard quite enough today to reassure my long position. Ciao, Bullzeye
