My housemate (an aero engineer) and I were sitting around playing with the airbox kit they sent us. Throwing eggs against the wall and jumping on them, that sort of thing. We were thinking of how to go about selling these things when the idea of using a full-body airbag to jump out of an airplane occurred to us. It might not need to be all that large. Something like 12-15' in diameter should suffice. It could be rapidly inflated with a sodium azide charge just like automobile airbags. I even know a few people who would volunteer. Of course if you were in one for very long, you'd need a pressurized breathing apparatus of some sort. Just think of the news coverage. Soon it would be on ESPN2 as a competitive event. Now if we didn't want to put all our eggs in one basket, marketing could mail single eggs to potential customers. -bob mackey
