The reason for my concern is that I have tried to stay away from any products that have the potential to become "commodity-like". . .I got beat up by Western Digital in the disk drive area. How far ahead of the curve are CMTO and TERN, and how sustainable are the margins?

I agree with you and your comment regarding CMTO margins. I would rather be wondering whether they can keep growth at 30-40% ranges than be holding a company without these profit margins.
