You will not have many choices; everyone claims to be a 3d graphics these days. So who will you choose as an average user? You decision may not be just based on the frames per second. See my previous post to get a feel for the range of views out there. I think 3dfx makes good cards at a great value point. I'm just trying to point out that the perspective on this thread seems too one sided at times. BTW, when I said FPS, I meant "first person shooter". I just realized that it can also be read as "frames per second". Sun Tzu
