Mohan, It truly must be a parallel universe where everyone who has been right about the course of the economy in the past few years is called "brainless" and "ignorant" while everyone who has been wrong on his/her predictions is called a "genius". It must also be in a parallel universe where people like Abbey and Joey who have made the right call on market direction on every turn are called "brainless", "loones","maniacs" while those who have made the wrong call every time are cult heroes!! Sort of like bizzaro world <g> Let me tell you something I learned in this business a long time ago. %90 of people who claim to be geniuses and call others brainless usually have the IQ of a piece of furniture just like %90 of people who boast about being rich don't have a pot to piss in. As to the poster you mentioned, I have no clue as to whether he is a Stanford grad. or not. I do know that I disagree with his view. Long bond DOES matter. But I also believe that the yield is where it is because of trading technicals and not fundamentals. My prediction is %5 or below by the end of the year. Care to enlighten us ignorant folks and venture a guess yourself??!!<g>
