M.B.,

Regarding trading with a laptop, I couldn't imagine it. There are just too many things you need to look at. Of course, it depends on your style of trading. But the shorter your time-frame for holding (e.g., pure daytrading holding positions for just minutes), I believe you need a lot more computer.

You need charts, several of them, indices, level II windows with TOS, decision support tools and trade execution windows. I use two 21-inch monitors on high resolution and manage to fill them both up just with CyBerTrader. Then you might have several browser windows running in the background, Quicken, or various other things. Using a laptop for daytrading, to me, would seem to be very dangerous, if not impossible altogether.

On the other hand, short term trading where you do research and study charts at your leisure, make a trade today, close it a few days later, that's no problem for a laptop.
