With all the interest in Healtheon HLTH and WebMD,and Microsoft's endeavor to get in (they did manage 1 directors chair) it is interesting to know that Computer Motion's third annual OR2000 Congress to be held in July:(announced in April) or2000.com has this listed: 1:45 Congress Keynote Address: The Evolution of Computers - A Catalyst to the OR of the Future Gordon Bell, Microsoft Research Group MSFT must of been helping and watching in this whole medical sector for a while-IMHO plus what's up with this (in registration): "Enrollment is limited. If you have not received written confirmation one week prior to the program, please contact Concept Meeting Management to confirm your registration. Walk-ins and late registrations will only be accepted if space is available. Due to the nature of the presentations, absolutely no cameras, video or audio recording devices will be permitted."
