I think one of the biggest none performance related issues is ensuring that what is displayed on the screen is what the programmer intended it to be. Arguably this is a job for the operating system. But good luck trying to get Microsoft to fix windows. So an alternate solution is to do the fix in drivers. Another thing that I'd like to see is support for multiple monitors (even if it is via multiple cards). I am not sure if this is easily possible in the windows world. But I'd love to have multiple view on multiple screens, or at least one very big screen made up of 3 monitors. My other point was that the message 3dfx should get accross is that 3dfx = great graphics. The message that their competetion will want the public to hear is that unless you are a FPS player or a serious gamer, you don't need 3dfx.
