The Rukeyser Mutual Newsletter dropped the Growth fund from the Rukeyser 100 this month. $ reasons for bad performance. 1. small company stock ownership 2. large cap outperformance in tech and healthcare. 3. Several of Gary Pilgrims top picks bit the dust, Fore system, Cascade Com. CompUSA more than 25% 4. maybe size is a factor, grew too fast. My opinion, its a tough market and ole Gary got his assets handed to him. The true test of his character will be to see if he can recover this year.
