I am reminded of the Zen adage, "Expect nothing.". Forget about POs and play the stock based on what you see now. If they come through and the stock doubles, triples, etc., great but dealing with the here and now seems more practicable.

Just a guess, but I believe that in the absence of substantive news the MMs have no choice but to move up and down within a narrow range. They top out and that defines the top of their range, then short the stock and drop it, immediately for some profit. They generally do this around the end of each month and then begin the accumulation process again. You can make money if you time it the way they do. If they continue in this pattern I would be very satisfied to play it all year.
