As a policy, I do not like to make comments about other companies.

Sierra Wireless has a strong position in the cellular modem market. This is not a business that we are after at this stage. Typically, as I said in an earlier post, cellular technologies do not deliver high speed data (>2Mbps). We are targeting high speed data networks that are ultimately capable of multimedia applications. Today, all these technologies compliment each other. When mobile high speed data is available, we could see a shift in the market whereby cellular applications may be limited to full mobility (driving or walking in the street) whereas high speed networks will be utilized whenever the user is stationary somewhere. Not that our W-OFDM technology cannot handle high speed mobility but because there probably will be limited need for simultaneous multimedia and full mobility.

Again, I am not commenting on the business of Sierra Wireless. As far as I know, we are not competitors at this stage. This is a huge market and I wish them the best of luck.
