OT: Jaime, Yank Sing is on Battery near the Financial District. Very upscale, somewhat in contrast to some of the dim sum places in Chinatown. But I love it first and foremost for the fabulous food. By far the best dim sum I have ever had. Focus magazine has rated it the best in SF for years and years. I would venture it is the best dim sum outside HK. In fact I would venture that it compares to the best in HK. In fact the owners are from HK as I remember.

So what do you like around my area? We love Miyake's for sushi in downtown PA. Not the highest quality perhaps but great prices and a lot of fun. College-type atmosphere. And near there too is Andale's, a Mexican fast food restaurant that just has terrific food at great prices. And then there is Dhabar and also Janta, two terrific Indian restaurants nearby. We also like the Empire Taproom for Cal cuisine in a lovely outdoor setting. And of course the beat goes on. It's a great suburban location with many urban advantages.

So I guess you live in the Bay Area too? Can I ask where? PM me if your prefer. Regards, Rob
