*Voice delay* 66 millisecond delay for the shortest ICO round trip, but 100ms for longer ones. Add electrons racing around circuits for a while and light through fibre around the world, will make at least 200 ms and more like 300 ms, or even 400ms.

That's too much! Globalstar saves 66 to 100ms just in lower altitude and that is significant to people waiting for a voice to get somewhere.

Sensitive people would be bugged by 100ms total delay. 200ms is the average sensitivity apparently [which is about average reaction time so that is in keeping with what I'd expect].
