Got me! Given that the class of drugs has shown pronounced efficacy, and that Viracept efficacy is clear from AGPH's clinical trials, it would appear that the issues are mostly compliance- and toxicology-related. I am working under the assumption (it's mine, get your own) that FDA has determined that tox, compliance and labeling issues are within the purview of its own staff.
