James, thanks for the analysis. I'm interested in using my PEP allowance on higher risk stocks so the biotech area is interesting. My investment strategy (that's what I call it) would allow me to put my whole allowance into biotechs, so long as I drop some of the US ones. I'll look into some of those you mentioned.

Before moving to Australia a friend of mine was very positive about a co called Cambridge Biotech or Research (not 100% on the name, we were in a wine bar). Ring any bells?
