Can I play too?

My very first trading experience was April 15, 1999. Got a "hot tip" from a co-worker that Sikaman Gold (SKG - tse) was gonna start doing business on the internet. Bought 100,000 @ .08 and the next day bought another 100,000 @ .05 for an average cost of .065. Sold it all a couple of days later for .11 for a tidy little profit. All well and good except SKG hit .495 yesterday. Coulda, shoulda, woulda......c'est la vie.

Every day is a new experience for me. I upgraded my CSW subscription last night to include Market Depth (I know, I know.....I'm gonna pay the increased rate retroactive to the first of the month), and interpreting and applying this new source of information is my next challenge. I checked out Chapters on-line looking for a good book on beginning day trading / technical analysis but there are so many it's hard to choose without actually flipping through them. Any suggestions for a good primer on the subject?

All the best

Joe
