It will change the face of trading/investing - once it goes to true 24 hours, with full volume - that's the end of morning gap up/downs, end of day selloff/buy frenzy; it will be immensely news driven, far more than now - the premium will be on up to the nanosecond news, any small edge in time will represent an advantage, as runups, and selloffs will now happen on the news (no more stuff released "after the market closes). This will compress everything tremendously.

I will adjust to 24 hour trading (how, is a whole different subject) ; but paradoxically, the 1 hour extended trading is a negative for me. It offers no advantage over present situation since I'll still deal with exactly the same trading patterns as now, except I now have fewer hours for research, and less time for A LIFE outside of trading.
