I was going to buy a house there and trade from there. So I have a grip on the idea of which you speak, it actually is a nice deal. Provided you score citizenship from Ireland, Canada or the like....have a Million 2 to buy the house....and a few other things. Like, not minding owning only one car between yourself and your wife. I could live with a lot of that, and may once my kids are old enuf to fly the coup. But before you settle in too deep have a plan for US residency during the early Fall, my friend. Bermuda is a friendly place EXCEPT, in early Autumn.
