Yes, I did buy the house I told you about. Plan to get out of debt?
It's the American way. <g> I plan to make periodic payments. <g>

Seriously, if I could have paid cash without exhausting all my funds -- I would have. I intend to make more than the min payment and pay it off quicker than the term, but I took a 30-year loan in case something should come up which would prevent me making the larger payment for a month. The loan amount is less than twice my gross so I ought to be able to pay it off quite a bit quicker -- Lord willing. I look at it as an expense item -- I don't like debt generally, but I rented for a long time and helped build someone else's equity -- so this is quite an improvement over than, eh?

I wouldn't laugh at asking God to help you get out from under debts of any kind -- we both know He wrote the book on that and cancelled out a debt we could never repay. Amen?!!

Also, I think God wants His servants not to be enslaved to money or the things of this world. Most folks are so deep in debt, they burn up a lot of useless energy with anxiety and trying to increase income instead of live within what they make.
