That must explain why my kids slept all night from 3 weeks old and on....8lb, 2oz. and 8lb, 7oz 'ers (from 7pm to 6am).

Brooke, here is a pretty good story for you...you too Zack. My son was born at 2:15 in the afternoon, we goofed off a while after he was born and around 10pm, he fell asleep.... the nurses told me he would wake up around midnight or 1am for his feeding and that I should get a nap..... I woke up at 6am in the morning and was horrified that he hadn't woke up....so I go over to him and wake him up and, of course, he starts screaming b/c I startled him out of his sleep.... He slept 8 hours straight his first night in the hospital and more and more each night after (still sleeps from 8pm to 6am at age 6). I still laugh about how horrified I was that first morning.....from what I hear I am one of the luckier folks with sleeping kids....
