Ahh, so it is wrong for the US to intervene in a foreign country, but it is ok for Saddam to do so, because the Kuwaitis are rich. Selling over quota? So does Saudi Arabia, quite regularly. But I forgot, Kuwait was once part of Iraq. Nyah! Wrong. Here is a little history from ArabNet:

Its a wonder Saddam didnt use gas on the Kuwaitis, like he did on Kurds in northern Iraq. Nice guy he is, always mindful of the people.

Of course we didnt free Kuwait for the Kuwaitis. We did it for oil. And so did Canada and just about the rest of the world. Hell even the tight-wad Japanese government forked over some cash for that oil. And why should you think that I should be ashamed of that sort of blatant self-interest? Think about it next time you wake up, and realize that nothing you set your eyes upon could have been possible without oil.
